Alzheimer's Care Team®

Interfaith CarePartners' ALZHEIMER'S CARE TEAM® project utilizes the Care Team® model to give support and respite to families caring at home for loved ones with dementia-related disorders such as Alzheimer's, stroke-related, and Parkinson's diseases. Care Team® members provide caregivers personal support and a valuable break from the supervision of their disabled loved ones. The presence of Interfaith CarePartners' volunteers gives caregivers an opportunity to have "quality time" alone to participate in activities, or time at home to complete tasks free of the constant demands of their loved ones.
