Personal Assistant Service

Interfaith CarePartners® now offers geriatric care management that assists seniors and family caregivers to meet the lifestyle changes they face. A Personal Assistant provides consultation to individuals and family caregivers concerning medical or lifestyle changes seniors often experience. The focus is on enhancing quality of life physically, mentally, and socially, both for seniors living alone and those whose adult children are now  'distance' caregivers. The primary focus of the program is to contribute to each client's well being and to maintain the independence of each person served.  Maintenance of the privacy and confidentiality of all services is stressed.

Services are timely, confidential, designed to lighten the challenges and tasks seniors face, and tailored to the specific needs of each person. They include in-home assessment, development of a care plan, identification of service providers and monitoring of services, consultation with family caregivers, and planning to meet future needs.

The Personal Assistant service benefits seniors and their family caregivers, physicians with geriatric patients, clergy who assist families, and attorneys, financial planners, and other professionals with fiduciary relationships, and companies whose employees may be distracted by elder care matters.

Fees are economically priced to meet a range of budgets. Pastors and health care professionals are urged to bring the service to the attention of frail elderly and their caregivers who may benefit from the service.
