Our Volunteers

Interfaith CarePartners began with two volunteers—our founders, Dr. Earl Shelp and Dr. Ron Sunderland.

Today, volunteers remain at the very center of our mission. Every Care Team® consists of volunteers drawn from communities where concerned people of all ages see needs going unaddressed. We collaborate with over 117 congregations and approximately 2,000 individuals to care for weak, disabled, and aging people in their homes, or in congregation-hosted gatherings.

We’d like to introduce you to some of them. We think you’ll agree they’re the most extraordinary “ordinary” folks you’ll ever meet.
