Your generosity means that caring continues. |
Interfaith CarePartners relies on the generous gifts of individuals, foundations, and corporations to provide personalized support and resources to weak, disabled, and aging persons, and their primary caregivers. All services are supplied at no charge to caregivers, care partners (clients), volunteers and congregations.
Since 1986, Care Team volunteers have given more than 2,000,000 hours of service to others, valued at over $32 million. These gifts of time and care have enabled those we serve (clients) to retain the independence and dignity that mean so much to them, and given their caregivers the breaks that they need to continue caring for a loved one.
Mickey cares for her aging mother and physically debilitated ex-husband in her home. She is only 56, but the challenges of caring for two needy loved ones is a daunting one.
She considers the Common Ground caregiver’s support group at her church a God-send: “I found support, encouragement and friendship, as well as resources to assist with my circumstances and situations. Listening to others share their stories inspired me and created hope when I thought there was none.”
