Healing Through Helping
Bob nursed his wife for many years as she received respite care from a Care Team®. After her death, he slipped into a deep depression and his physician expressed concern.
Remembering the care his wife had received through Interfaith CarePartners, Bob joined a Second Family Care Team© through his church. “I never realized how difficult it is for so many caregivers,” he said. “We help some, although I wish we could do more.” By helping others, Bob found new focus and inspiration himself: “Giving back to others is what saved me.”
