The power of matching gifts can work wonders. |
In addition to gifts from corporations themselves, some 13,000 corporations nationwide match the gifts of individual employees. By using a matching gift program, you can double or in some cases triple your support of caregiving. If you want to find out if your employer matches employees’ charitable contributions, contact us for more information.
Most participating companies ask that you complete a short form and mail it to Interfaith CarePartners. Send your form to us at 701 N. Post Oak Road, Suite 330, Houston, Texas 77024, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Some employers provide grants to charities in honor of volunteer service hours. If you think your company may provide grants in recognition of your volunteer hours through Interfaith CarePartners, please contact us. Chevron and Exxon are two Houston corporations providing these kinds of gifts—your company may as well.

When the music begins to play at one of the area’s 58 monthly Alzheimer’s Care Team®- Gathering Place on-site activity times, one couple is sure to dance.
Jim and Carol still love to dance cheek to cheek, although Jim is now the caregiver and Carol lives with Alzheimer’s disease. Both enjoy the time of memory stimulation, activity and socialization The Gathering Place provides. Jim says, “It is a time that I can renew my relationship with Carol, and remember the woman I fell in love with.”
