Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior

This free presentation is open to caregivers and others interested in understanding and responding to dementia related behaviors. Reservations are not required and coffee and cookies will be served.

Click here to view the flyer.

Behavior is a powerful form of communication and is one of the primary ways for people with dementia to communicate their needs and feelings as the ability to use language is lost. However, some behaviors can present real challenges for caregivers to manage. Join us to learn to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers, and learn strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease.

Speaker provided by the Alzeimer's Association.

What People Say

Common Ground is a safe place to voice our trials and defeats, the frustrations and the victories. Listening to others as they shared their caregiving stories inspired me and created the desire to hope when I thought there was none.”
