Mark Robinson, Chaplain

Our culture doesn’t lend itself to living one day at a time, but as caregivers, we must.  Caring for yourself is not an act of indulgence.  It is an act of survival.  Speaking from the heart with understanding and encouragement to share, Mark will help you create opportunities for integrating spirituality into your role as a caregiver.

Essential Legal Documents

Bryan Wilcox, Attorney

As our population ages the number of people suffering from various forms of dementia and related illnesses has increased. This results in a tremendous number of Guardianships, many of which could be avoided by pre-planning with certain essential legal documents.  The key is to have these documents in place before the need arises.  Bryan is an attorney in private practice and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston Clear Lake.  His passion is helping people find the best solution to allow both themselves and their loved ones to age gracefully with dignity and the best quality of life.

What People Say

Common Ground is a safe place to voice our trials and defeats, the frustrations and the victories. Listening to others as they shared their caregiving stories inspired me and created the desire to hope when I thought there was none.”
