Become a Volunteer

Intro picture

There are countless ways to show you care.

One of the most powerful ways to help Interfaith CarePartners is to join our team of nearly 2000 volunteers—the largest volunteer caregiving organization in Harris County, Texas! You may participate in a Care Team® by enlisting your congregation to join our program.  Also, you might work at a fundraising or other special event, or assist with administrative tasks in our offices. If you have a desire to help, we can look for a place for you!

A Volunteer's Story

Gayle, a single mom with a special needs son, began volunteering when she was laid off from her job several years ago. A minister from her church asked her to co-lead a Kids’ Pals Care Team® and she did not hesitate. Nine years later, she is still volunteering, and continues to encourage and energize others on her Care Team® as a caregiver herself!
